• Activeculture.info  - The Cultural Alliance of Greater Birmingham began the development of activeculture.info over a year ago as a result of the Cultural Master Plan, which grew out of the Region 2020 planning for the 12-county region. A grant from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Alabama funded the web site development.
  
  
• All-State Orchestra Festival - The Alabama Orchestra Association was established to foster a spirit of friendliness, fellowship, and cooperation among stringteachers and orchestra conductors in the State of Alabama.  The mission is to develop a comprehensive program that will be of music and educational benefit to stringteachers and their students.  AOA hopes to provide a common meeting ground and clearing house for an exchange of ideas and methods that will stimulate professional growth among string teachers that will, in general, advance the standars of musical and educational acheivement for the string students of Alabama.
